When building a website, there are certain essentials to take into account to get the desired results. These essentials include: website platform, photos, logo, content, website layout/design and customer appeal.
Today were going to talk about High Resolution photos and Logos. Nobody likes to look at a pixelated photos or logos. It looks cheap, cheesy and unattractive for a 21st century website. It seems that when the internet was first introduced, pixelated images were okay because of the lack of power of the internet and computers i.e. 56k modems, 128 MBs of RAM and CPUs with only 300 mhz of processing power.
In 2010, it is unacceptable for any new website to have such design treason. Pixelation can be the difference between a mediocre website and a great website. So when your designing your website, make sure to keep high resolution in mind. Hire a great web designer that builds there logo’s in Adobe Illustrator instead of Adobe Photoshop. Adobe Illustrator is design through mathematics, the logo will look high resolution know matter what size it is because Adobe Illustrator can translate images easily because they are mathematically perfect.
Lets take a look at some examples of High Resolution versus Pixelation.
