The Solution
Fyresite engineered a custom Shopify Plus solution that eliminated reliance on costly third-party apps. We built a metafield-powered product selection tool, a forced add-on form for hub kits, a fitment confirmation step to reduce returns, and custom product pages tailored by category. Automated data imports and multi-store compatibility ensure scalable management, while integrated upsell opportunities enhance the buying flow. The result is a seamless, maintainable system optimized for both performance and growth.

Metaobject Fitment Engine
Engine and propeller specs stored as metaobjects with product-relation metafields, queried through conditional logic so only compatible propellers surface, with preloaded data for a fast, app-free experience.
Dependent Selection Flow
Cascading dropdowns (engine type, manufacturer, horsepower, model, then propeller attributes) that refine results at each step, with graceful matching when optional spec fields aren't populated.
Forced Hub-Kit Bundling
Hub kits linked to propellers via relation metafields and auto-selected from the finder, with combined pricing shown on both the results grid and the PDP and both items added to cart together.
Dynamic Results Page
A results page that renders matching propellers with their specs and purchase options from the parameters passed by the finder.
Portable Multi-Store Architecture
Prefixed, self-contained files and a client-copy repo so the same system installs on sibling stores by adding the files and swapping selectors.
