FreightVana was faced with a clear challenge: their current WordPress website no longer reflected their modern, fast-growing logistics brand.

The site had become outdated and was failing to communicate what set FreightVana apart in a competitive space. One of their top priorities was recruitment, but the job listings lacked polish and efficiency, making it difficult to attract top-tier talent.

Another pain point for FreightVana was the website’s poor mobile optimization, limiting accessibility for users across devices.

Lastly, the company’s vibrant internal culture and community-focused mission weren’t being represented online, nor was their unique brand identity coming through in the visual design.

In short, FreightVana required a complete website overhaul to unify function, storytelling, and experience.

Our team responded with a tailored, full-scale solution centered on strategy, design, and seamless execution. This started with discovery, where assets were gathered and strategic wireframes were built for core pages like the homepage, blog, team, hiring, and contact. This allowed the Fyresite team to get a holistic understanding of what FreightVana was looking for.

FreightVana was looking for a custom design. With that in mind, Fyresite designed everything from scratch to match FreightVana’s updated brand vision. High-fidelity mockups ensured that both desktop and mobile experiences would be intuitive, modern, and consistent.

As part of their fresh new look, FreightVana’s new site incorporated dynamic graphics, animations, and tooltips, giving the experience a polished, interactive feel.

The development process included a fresh WordPress install, complete with custom post types for job listings and team members, ensuring scalability and content flexibility.

Fyresite integrated Gravity Forms to build specialized forms for contact, job applications, carrier inquiries, and newsletter signups. An Instagram feed was embedded to highlight FreightVana’s active social presence, and over 50 blog posts were migrated from the legacy platform.

Fyresite believes in transparency on all of our projects, and we maintained this transparency through shared Slack channels, real-time QA with BugHerd, and weekly reporting via Zoho Projects.
