One of the best things about Shopify is that they’re always changing and improving their services. Whether it’s a new feature or a change to make an existing tool easier to use, there’s constantly new things happening, and most merchants don’t even know about them. So here’s 3 exciting things from Shopify’s changelog you should know about.
Manage Agentic Commerce in Shopify Admin
Agentic Commerce is all the rage right now, and Shopify wants to help merchants take full advantage.
While you might know that Shopify has built-in agentic capabilities, allowing your products to be discoverable to a number of AI channels (ChatGPT, Shop, CoPilot, etc), you might not know it has its own page in the Shopify Admin.
Shopify has introduced a dedicated Agentic Commerce section within Shopify Admin, giving merchants a centralized place to:
- Monitor AI-driven product discovery performance
- Review optimization recommendations
- Improve visibility across supported AI shopping channels
As AI becomes a larger part of eCommerce, this dashboard makes it easier to stay ahead of the curve.
Align Customer Sign-In With Your Brand
Branding is essential for every Shopify merchant. With this new Shopify improvement, account sign-in pages now offer a new design that gives you more control over the look, allowing you to align it to your brand.
The new design is 2 columns, with the sign-in in one column and an image of your choosing on the other.
It’s a simple update that helps create a more professional and cohesive brand experience.
Sell From Multiple Legal Entities In The Same Country
Shopify Payments now allows multiple legal entities in the same country to sell from the same store.
This helps merchants:
- Who sell online and in retail under separate legal entities in the same country
- Support different legal entities for different retail locations
- Who separate B2B and D2C sales under different entities
- Attribute sales, payouts, and compliance requirements to the right business entity
- Reduce duplicated admin work across multiple stores
Before this exciting new update, merchants that operated within the same country under multiple legal entities needed workarounds, such as separate Shopify stores or expansion stores.
