Fyresite migrated them to Shopify Plus on a one-off custom theme built from their new brand design, then rebuilt their most complex merchandising as native Shopify features rather than third-party apps. The result is a faster store with a seamless seat-customization experience and intuitive day-to-day management for the Corbeau team.

Finding their site to be difficult to maintain and unhappy with their development team, they were looking for a change. They needed a platform that would allow them to run their store with intuitive maintenance and a seamless product customization experience.

We successfully migrated the site from BigCommerce to Shopify Plus, implementing a one-off custom theme based on a unique design to enhance brand identity. Our team focused on usability and optimization, ensuring a seamless user experience. To streamline product selection, we built a Year Make Model (YMM) Seat Bracket Product Finder Form using Metafields, eliminating the need for third-party apps.

Additionally, we optimized site speed for better performance and user engagement. Leveraging Metafields, we also developed a custom seat builder with line item properties in the cart and checkout, allowing users to edit their selections even after adding items—providing a smoother and more dynamic shopping experience.

What we engineered

Seat Builder and Add-On Configurator

On the product page shoppers pick a seat and add compatible items like heaters, brackets, lumbar support, and belts. Each add-on is written to the cart as its own line-item property with its own quantity, so a customer can buy two seats with a single seat heater, and every selection stays editable through the mini cart and checkout. A self-healing cart check re-adds any add-on that drops during fast variant switching.

Year/Make/Model Bracket Finder

A native fitment tool built entirely on product metafields (make, model, and a comma-separated list of years) matches a vehicle to the right seat bracket, resolves multiple matches through a dropdown, and routes universal brackets to their own collection, removing the need for a third-party fitment app.

Metafield-Driven PDP

Options, add-ons, pricing, and fitment data all run off Shopify metafields, so add-to-cart totals and Affirm estimates recalculate live as selections change, with no app sprawl behind them.

Alloy ERP Connector App

Fyresite built a base custom Shopify app scoped to exactly the permissions Alloy's ERP team required, letting their integration sync orders and inventory directly against Shopify while Alloy stayed the operational source of truth.

360-Degree Product Viewer

A custom Three.js gallery renders seats from supplied 3D files and locks motion to a horizontal 360-degree spin, giving shoppers a full look at each seat without leaving the page.

Custom Theme and Speed Optimization

Enlisted Design's brand direction was built out as a one-off custom Shopify theme, then tuned for speed and mobile so the heavier configurator pages stay quick.
