21st Century Vitamins faced significant operational hurdles due to a legacy custom-built CMS that offered limited eCommerce functionality.
The brand was enriching third-party marketplaces because it lacked a robust Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform to capture and retain ROI on its own marketing spend.
Internally, they struggled with a lack of automated workflows, relying on manual processes for order fulfillment, inventory updates, and tax calculations.
Furthermore, the brand’s digital presence was fragmented. Their Pet Products line was not available on the main store, and existing systems could not provide real-time analytics or scalability required for modern growth.
This wasn’t sustainable for their business goals. They needed a new platform that could provide scalable solutions and automated workflows.
The Solution
Fyresite orchestrated a comprehensive migration to Shopify Plus to establish a high-performing, mobile-optimized DTC store that serves as both a retail outlet and a reference catalog for distributors.
To solve the fulfillment and data accuracy issues, we integrated the Sage X3 ERP as the “source of truth,” enabling bidirectional synchronization of order information and real-time updates for inventory and shipping tracking.
The redesign included the creation of custom page templates and specialized navigation for the Pet Care line to unify the brand experience.
It also automated essential business logic (such as tax calculations via Vertex to personalized marketing through Klaviyo) and expanded sales reach by integrating native connectors for TikTok, Instagram, and Google Shopping.
Now, they’re positioned to repatriate ROI from third-party marketplaces and scale its fulfillment operations efficiently through a centralized digital ecosystem
