In 2017, ZINKN founder Michael Vogler, CEO of Arizona’s Best Home-care came to us with a fledgling idea that was ambitious, practical, and disruptive. ZINKN checked all the boxes for products we love: it’s new and exciting, presents unique technical challenges, and benefits people on multiple fronts. We went all in.
ZINKN: The First Real-Time, On Demand Technology that Provides Any Service All in One App built exclusively on AWS
The Problem
Building on Michael’s initial concept, Fyresite developed a comprehensive 70+ page Spec Sheet detailing all functionality, process flows, database designs, wireframes, brand standards, and realistic time and cost estimates detailed to the line item level. With our product blueprint in place, our in-house design team started building out the most crucial foundational element of the application – intuitive, human-centered UI/UX.
Initially conceived as a solution for providing on-demand in-home care for seniors and those differently abled, it quickly became apparent early in the development process that we had something much more on our hands. Leveraging the user interface we designed for the initial scope, Fyresite and ZINKN expanded the user experience to include a nearly limitless range of on-location services, on demand and at your fingertips.
Over many months, Fyresite developed this disruptive sharing economy product as native apps for both iOS and Android with a React admin dashboard – with a robust feature set that includes a sophisticated matching algorithm, real-time GPS location tracking, a two-way rating system, job timers, a full-featured administrative dashboard, and an innovative Preferred Provider technology that allows Users to save their favorite providers and give them priority for future job requests (Patent Pending). The project is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) utilizing the following services: Cogntio, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudfront, and Cloudformation.
Today, native ZINKN apps for both Providers and Customers are available in the Google Play and Apple App Stores – helping regular everyday people with transportation, child care, pet sitting, dog walking, grocery shopping, home organization, housekeeping, data entry, miscellaneous errands, senior assistance, and anything else ZINKN users can think of!
